Brass Water Butt Adapter + 13mm Irrigation Valve

Upgrade or create a new outlet on your water-butt tank with this all-in-one brass adapter kit, complete with a solid brass adapter, high-durability plastic valve and a roll of PTFE tape. The brass fitting is fully corrosion- and rust-resistant for reliable performance in the UK’s variable weather, and its through-thread design lets you reverse the 3/4″ or 1/2″ BSP threads to face inwards or outwards—maximising compatibility with existing bosses or new hose fittings. Simply wrap the included PTFE tape around the threads for a watertight seal every time.

The kit’s moulded plastic valve features a 12.7 mm (1/2″) barbed hosetail for direct connection to standard 1/2″ garden hose. Crafted from UV-stable, weather-proof plastic, the valve resists rust, corrosion, ice and UV damage. Installation is tool-free: push the barb into your hose, then secure the adapter into your tank using the supplied back nut and dual washers to lock the fitting firmly in place. Whether replacing a pre-drilled outlet or drilling a new 22 mm hole, this kit delivers a secure, leak-proof connection with minimal effort.
